Replacing and Adjusting Classic Bands
ORIGINAL PEBBLE
Cherry Red and Jet Black bands are shipped with black bands, while Arctic White ships with a matching white band.
The band is latex-free, polyurethane band that has a stainless "surgical" steel clasp. It can accommodate wrists with a circumference between 14cm and 21cm. You will not be able to adjust the wrist size, but the watchband can easily be exchanged for any standard 22mm bands from anywhere watches or watch accessories are sold.
The original Pebble's bands are 22mm wide and secured by collapsible spring pins. To exchange the band, all you need is a small screw driver or other sturdy, thin object. Insert your tool between the edge of the watchband and the body of the watch. Apply pressure in the direction of the band and you should be able to collapse the pin and pull the band free.
Once you have your replacement band, slide the pin through the band and place one end of the pin into the notch on the body. Collapse the pin again until you feel the watchband snap into place.
PEBBLE STEEL
Pebble Steel ships with a black, genuine leather band. It is 8-1/16 inches or 205. However, if you would prefer, we also have optional metal bands available for purchase on the website.
To adjust the metal band to a smaller wrist size, we recommend taking your Pebble Steel to a local watch repair shop or jeweler.
To replace the Pebble Steel’s watchband, you will need a screwdriver that is 1.5mm or smaller. The screw securing the band can be found on the bottom right and top left prongs protruding from the body of the watch. Unscrew to the left until the screw is protruding enough to pull out with your fingers. Please be careful with this screw as you will need it for your replacement band.
The regular metal band is 8.5 inches or 215mm, but can be adjusted down to a minimum of 160mm. Available in both the Brushed Stainless and Black Matte finish, it is made from 316 grade stainless "surgical" steel. The Black Matte band has a PVD finish. The premium metal band is 8.66 inches or 220mm, but can be adjusted down to a minimum of 6.85 inches or 174mm. It is made from forged, solid 316 grade stainless steel and has a micro adjustment in the clasp. It is very durable with a heavier feel.
Additionally, SteelConnect has created an attachment that can be used with Pebble Steel to make it compatible with any standard 22mm watch band.
