iOS - Unable to Pair

Last Updated -

Please try these steps to help your Pebble pair:

  • First, "forget" all pairings. Attempts to connect on your iOS device may be blocked by a previous pairing trying to re-connect or if a severed connection did not fully register on one of the devices.

To unpair devices, follow this path on your Pebble: Main Menu >> Settings >> Bluetooth >> [Device’s name] >> Forget.

To unpair Pebbles on your iOS device, go to Settings >> Bluetooth >> tap the arrow or i icon to the right of your Pebble >> Forget this device.

Check to see if there is a BT LE for your Pebble and be sure to forget both Pebble XXXX and Pebble-LE XXXX pairings.

Once you have successfully unpaired and restarted each involved device, please try your pairing again, following the guide in your iOS app or go.getpebble.com and iOS 7 instructions here.

  • On your iPhone, turn Bluetooth off and then back on.

  • Go pack to your Pebble iOS App and retry.

  • If you are setting up the 2.0 Pebble App for the first time, you should be taken back to a screen that says 'retry'.

  • If you have previously connected with the 2.0 Pebble iOS App, click on 'Pebble disconnected' at the top.

  • Your Pebble's 4 character Bluetooth name should appear under 'Select An Accessory' within 2 minutes. Select it to pair to your iPhone.

If the Bluetooth name does not appear within 2 minutes:

  • Forget the iPhone from your Pebble and the Pebble from your iPhone again (see above).

  • Shut down your Pebble, Main menu >> Settings >> Shut down.

  • Close the app on your iPhone by double clicking the home button, scrolling left-right to find the Pebble App, and swiping up to dismiss the Pebble app..

  • Power off your iPhone.

  • Turn your Pebble back on by pressing and holding any button for 2-3 seconds

  • Turn your iPhone back on.

  • Open the Pebble App.

  • Try pairing again.
