Pebble 2 and Time 2

Pebble Core

Pebble 2 and Time 2
Watch bands
  • Pebble 2 and Time 2 are each paired with a 22mm silicone band, which has quick-release pins so that it is easily exchangeable.
  • Pebble 2 bands will fit wrists with circumferences up to 21.5cm. There is a small amount of nickel in the quick-release pins on the watch band.
  • Time 2 bands can also accommodate wrists circumferences up to 21.5cm. There is a small amount of nickel in the stainless steel clasp and quick-release pins on the watch band.
  • The original Pebble, Pebble Time, and Pebble Time Steel are also 22mm wide, so any bands that are compatible with those watches will work with Pebble 2 or Time 2.
Replacing the band
  • Pebble 2 and Time 2 each arrive with a 22mm silicone band attached.
  • Each band has stainless steel (SUS316) quick-release pins to make swapping bands fast and easy.
  • To remove your watch band, simply slide the quick-release pin towards the center of the band and the pin will collapse and allow you to pull the band free. You will not be able to use the pins with other bands, so please be sure to purchase 22mm collapsible spring pins for your replacement.
  • Slide your new pins through the band and place one end of the pin into the notch on the body. Collapse the pin again until you feel the watchband snap into place.

Charging Cable
  • Pebble 2 and Time 2 will use the same charging cable as the Time-series watches. They are available for purchase on our website. Please make sure that you have the “Pebble Time Cable” selected before purchasing.

Pebble Core
Headphones and headsets
  • Pebble Core does not have a speaker, but does have a voice response that can speak to customers through a headset.
  • Core can connect to Bluetooth headsets or you can use most headphones (note: OMTP headphones won’t work).
  • iPhones and most Android phones use headphones that will be compatible with Core.
  • Plugging in the wrong type of headset will make the sound extremely quiet or inaudible.  If your headphones are not compatible with the jack, converters are available, but may not work reliably with remote control functionality (e.g. volume control).
Charging
  • Pebble Core has two charging options: a standard option which charges through the headphone jack, and an optional Qi-compatible wireless charging receiver.
  • The Core requires a special backing to allow wireless charging, and can’t be used with other wireless chargers on its own.  This backing is a wireless charging receiver and is available to Kickstarter backers in the Backer Portal.
