Frequently Asked Questions

What happens if I change watches?

  • If you change watches, you’ll only lose data that hasn’t been stored on your phone that day. The data your new watch sends will be collected by the app.

What does typical mean?

  • The ‘Typical’ number on your graphs shows you your per-day average over the most recent 30 days.

Why don’t the steps on my watch always match the steps on my phone?

  • The watch send data to your phone app every 10-20 minutes when they’re connected, so you may see a difference in the numbers. It’s important for the app to be opened in the background for maximum performance.

Can I push data from another health tracker onto Pebble Health?

  • No. At this time Pebble Health accepts data only from your watch, and doesn’t take outside input.

Why doesn’t typical on my watch match typical on my app?

  • If you reset your watch, or change watches, the watch bases ‘typical’ on the data it stores. The phone, however, will still base ‘typical’ on the last 30 days of data it has.
Why don’t I have a full month’s worth of data?
  • Only a limited amount of data since before Health Graphs were released is included in the graphs. Not to worry, as long as you’re recording each new day, all you need to do is keep wearing your watch. You’ll record health data as you go.
