Pebble Appstore
What is the Pebble appstore?
The Pebble appstore makes it quick and easy to find Pebble apps and watchfaces right from the Pebble
app on your iOS or Android device. You'll be able search for apps by categories including Daily, Remotes, Games, Notifications, Tools & Utilities, Sports & Fitness, and Watchfaces. Each category will feature highlights of the best rated apps, Pebble staff picks, and most recently added.
The Pebble appstore also features an app locker to conveniently store the apps you choose, even if there’s not enough room to load them all on your Pebble. You can easily swap apps between your Pebble and your locker to have the exact apps you need right when you need them.
When will the appstore be available?
The Pebble Appstore is currently available for all devices running our 2.0 app and firmware. The 2.0 app is available for iPhone 4S and up, and Android devices running OS 4.0 or later.
How does the appstore work?
Simply open your app, select the category you're interested in, and find new amazing apps for your Pebble. We've made searches even easier by highlighting public favourites, Pebble staff favourites, and new additions for each category. Once you find one you like, tap the app to either store it in your app locker or download directly on to your Pebble. It's that simple.
What will happen to 1.0 Pebble apps?
Although not all of your original Pebble apps will be compatible immediately after the upgrade, we have been working hard to make sure the most popular watchfaces and apps are available after updating to 2.0 firmware. Any interested developers can make old apps 2.0 compatible, but it may take some time. We thank you in advance for your patience!
The new smartphone app will scan your Pebble for existing apps and convert to the updated version automatically wherever possible.
Will I have to pay for Pebble apps?
At the moment, the Pebble appstore does not support paid applications.
However, developers can submit applications to our appstore that require companion apps from Google Play or the Apple Appstore, in which case the price of the companion is under their discretion.
