Alarms & Smart Alarms

Last Updated -

Pebble alarms are a subtle way to be reminded of an important event or that it's time to wake up without disturbing those around you.

  • You can store up to 10 alarms on your Pebble.
  • We offer basic and smart alarms, as detailed below.
  • You can easily convert basic alarms into smart alarms and vice versa.
  • Both types alert you with strong, repetitive vibration until dismissed or snoozed.

Basic Alarms

  • A reliable, tactile alarm that will go off exactly as you set it.
  • Can schedule which days it's enabled.
  • If there isn't a symbol containing a Z beside the listed alarm, it is a basic alarm. See picture above for comparison.
  • Watches from the Pebble Time collection have multiple vibration patterns available to personalize your alarm and distinguish it from other incoming notifications.
    • To change your alarm vibration, go into the menu on your Pebble and select Settings > Vibrations > Alarms. Press the select button to scroll through your options and feel a sample of each.

Smart Alarms

  • Pebble Health must be enabled to use the smart alarms feature.
  • Will use the incoming sleep data to determine the best time to wake you, between the time you set your alarm for and a half hour before.
  • Smart alarms are distinguished from basic ones in the menu by "Z" icons on the alarm listing. See image at the top of the page for comparison.
  • Can schedule which days it's enabled.

Note: a smart alarm may go off up to a half hour earlier than the set time, if it is a better time to wake up during your sleep cycle.
  • Select whether you want the alarm to go off once or be recurring (weekdays, weekends, every day, or custom days).
  • Your alarm time will appear in chronological order in the alarm menu once set.
