Error Codes

If your watch is displaying an error code beginning with "FE", please locate the code in one of the headers below for troubleshooting instructions.

This error code indicates there may be an issue with one of the buttons on your watch.  
It is most often caused by a stuck button, so please follow these steps: 
  1. Press the back button quickly three times, holding the last push for 7 seconds
  2. Repeat with the other three buttons (order is not important)
  3. Hold the back (left side) and select (right middle) buttons at the same time for 5-10 seconds, until the Pebble logo appears
  4. If you continue to experience the issue, or have trouble executing the steps, please email order@pebble.com with the following
    • A summary of the issue, including a note that you’ve tried troubleshooting steps above
    • The serial number of the watch
    • A picture of the error on the screen of the watch
    • A picture of the back of your watch, with the serial number clearly shown
    • The model and color of your watch
    • Your phone number and shipping address (including your name, street address, city, region, country and postal code) in case we determine a replacement is appropriate

These error code indicate issues which can often be resolved by restarting the watch from recovery mode.To resolve the issue, please follow these steps: 
  1. Your watch may already be in Recovery Mode (pictured on right); if not, please press and hold the back, up, and select buttons at the same time.
  2. Continue holding until your watch screen shows a screen similar to the one pictured here.
  3. Open the Settings menu on your phone
  4. Open Bluetooth under Settings and find any Pebble devices
  5. Tap the icon to the right of the Pebble device(s) and forget them
  6. Reopen your Pebble App and follow the prompts to reconnect your watch to your phone
  7. If you continue to experience the issue, or have trouble executing the steps, please email order@pebble.com with the following
    • A summary of the issue, including a note that you’ve tried troubleshooting steps above
    • The serial number of the watch
    • A picture of the error on the screen of the watch
    • A picture of the back of your watch, with the serial number clearly shown
    • The model and color of your watch
    • Your phone number and shipping address (including your name, street address, city, region, country and postal code) in case we determine a replacement is appropriate
